In one paragraph: RoundBorders migrates WordPress sites between hosts, and moves sites from Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, and custom platforms to WordPress or WooCommerce, at a fixed price from $399. Every migration is built and tested on staging first, every URL is preserved or mapped with a 301 redirect, and the cutover is done with zero downtime, so search rankings and visitors are unaffected (WooCommerce stores pause checkout once, for 15–30 minutes, so no order is lost). Host-to-host moves typically take 2–5 days; platform moves 1–5 weeks.

Troubleshooting intermittent 503 Errors

You, Sir, are a genius. Thank you so much for helping us out. Myself and our hosting provider weren't able to find the error, Bishoy found it in less than 24 hours. Thank you so much!

SQL database is giant.

Bishoy is so awesome. I would gladly hire him again for a project. He is super fast and an expert at his craft. He helped me to clean up and optimize a 29GB database file down to less than 1% of that size. My website is running so smoothly now. Thank you, Bishoy!

WordPress migration FAQ

Asked before the move, answered straight.

What people ask before handing over a site to move, and what we tell them.

01

Will my site go down during the migration?

No. The new site is built on staging and the cutover overlaps both hosts, so there is no moment when neither is serving. For WooCommerce stores, browsing continues throughout; checkout pauses once for 15 to 30 minutes at a time you choose, so the final orders and stock levels move across exactly. No order is lost.

02

Will I lose SEO rankings when I move hosts?

Not from the move itself. URLs, metadata, canonicals, and structured data are preserved, and we watch Search Console for two weeks afterwards. Rankings only move when URLs change without redirects, which we do not allow.

03

How long does a WordPress migration take?

Host to host: typically 2 to 5 days with a one-evening cutover. Platform moves (Wix, Squarespace, Webflow): 1 to 3 weeks. Shopify to WooCommerce: 2 to 5 weeks, mostly rebuilding checkout and theme.

04

Can you migrate WooCommerce orders and customers?

Yes, including order history, customer accounts, subscriptions, and coupons. For Shopify we map products, variants, and collections one-to-one, with reviews carried over.

05

Which host should I move to?

We recommend honestly based on your traffic and budget. We are a Pressable Pro Partner but migrate to any host; the recommendation never depends on where you end up.

06

Do I need to buy the new hosting first?

Not before the quote. Once you approve, we set up the new environment (or use one you already have) and build there while the old site keeps running.

07

Will my emails keep working after the migration?

Yes. Email usually lives on separate DNS records that we leave untouched. Where the old host also handled mail, we move it first and test before the cutover.

08

What if something is missing after the move?

The old host stays up for at least 24 hours and a full backup is kept for 30 days, so anything missed is restored, not rebuilt. It is rare: you click through staging before we cut over.
